Ana Salinas discusses the Museumshafen project in Berlin, which transforms a former GDR border pier on the River Spree into a floating cultural and museum district, reinterpreting the site as a public space linking history.
First prize in the competition organised by KVL Projektentwicklung Plus. Wilk-Salinas Architekten were selected among six invited studios to develop the project for a museum located at the former border pier on the River Spree.
Gilbert Wilk was a speaker at the 2025 Hermann-Henselmann-Stiftung conference “Large Ensembles of Post-War Modernism”, presenting on the refurbishment strategies for the Berlin TV Tower ensemble.
Ana Salinas participated as a guest critic in student project reviews at Fachhochschule Potsdam, contributing to academic discussions in collaboration with Studio Sanupa and Makundoo.
First Prize, architectural competition for the Blumenpavillon and Vermehrungshaus at Schlossgärtnerei, Branitz Park ,Cottbus, organised by Stiftung Fürst-Pückler-Museum Park und Schloss Branitz. Wilk-Salinas design praised for quality and concept.
Ana Salinas presented a lecture as part of the TOBUILDTALKS series at the Institut für Architektur (IfA), Technische Universität Berlin, sharing insights into the studio’s work, design approach and ongoing research.
